Our clients are promoting new approaches to education for the most disenfranchised students. From young kids living in Spanish speaking households who may be overlooked for learning disabilities assistance, to students in low-income neighborhoods who lack access to quality teaching environments, we tackle education from a civil rights perspective.
We have pushed new narratives in education reporting, including the power of filmmaking and writing in classrooms to foster social/emotional learning for teenagers in high poverty school districts as well as new research about the importance of specific anti-gay bullying policies in schools.
Our work with organizations, researchers, and academicians in the arena of sex education is substantial, and is particularly focused on strategies and messages that motivate diverse communities and perspectives. Camino PR's President, Elizabeth Toledo, recently presented at the Specialist Roundtable on Comprehensive Sexuality and Reproductive Health Education in Hangzhou, China. From across the globe to local communities across the country, Camino PR is deeply engaged in sexual health promotion.
